Organizers say the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum has found a home in midtown Manhattan.

The Wall Street Journal says the plans also include a restaurant, arcade, concert lounge, television studios, marquee, community and corporate rooms, and a gift shop.

The company’s business development manager, Bobby Fisher, says the address won’t be released until July because the deal is still being wrapped up.

The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards television show was broadcast by the cable network BET in the 1990s. The awards were no longer televised after high-profile murders of hip-hop stars. The Hall of Fame last inducted honorees in 1997.

The awards show will return to television in November, broadcast from the Apollo Theater.

A 33-year-old Knoxville, Tenn. man with 30 children appeared in court this week to ask the state for child-support help, Memphis news station WREG reported Wednesday.

Desmond Hatchett has fathered 30 children — which is believed to be the record in Knox county, according to the Los Angeles Times — with 11 different women. His youngest children are toddlers and his oldest is 14.

Hatchett reportedly asked the court to give him a break on his payments, claiming that he’s struggling to make ends meet with his minimum-wage job. Currently, the state requires him to divide 50 percent of his earnings among the 11 women, some of whom receive as little as $1.49 a month, WREG reports.

How did Hatchett come to father so many children? “I had four kids in the same year. Twice,” he told Volunteer TV in 2009. He also told a local news station that year that he was “done” having kids (he had only 21 at the time).

Anotha Level was an American hip hop group composed of five members, Bambino, Ced Twice, Stenge, Stix and Stones. They were closely associated with Ice Cube, who got the group a deal with his label at the time Priority Records. The group then recorded and released their only album on April 26, 1994 entitled “On Anotha Level.”  The album failed to become a commercial success, only making it to No. 60 on the Billboard’s R&B charts and No. 17 on the Heatseekers chart. Later in the year the group appeared on the Street Fighter soundtrack on the song “Rap Commando”, but disbanded shortly after without releasing any further recordings. Well what do we have here? BET’s “106 & Park” host Rocsi Diaz was spotted–with a big fat smile slapped on those lips–toting around Beverly Hills today and holding hands with….wait for it…..wait for it….Eddie Freakin’ Murphy.

The veteran A-list actor was spotted taking the Jimmy Choo shoes wearing Rocsi to the Coffee Bean. And from what we hear–this random pairing may be a convenient career helper for Rocsi. Shocker. Not only has she been trying to break into the world of acting like her BET counterpart Terrence J, but she’s been writing screenplays that she hopes to shop around in Hollywood to boost her career.

I mean, that recent Gang of Roses 2 role was only going to take her so far on that Blockbuster shelf and those Netflix envelopes. So why not get in tight–very tight–with an A-lister who can make things happen for you? That seems to be what’s hot in the streets these days.

Rocsi didn’t seem to be trying to hide the relationship too much as she smiled real big and glowed for the paparazzi cameras.

All the victims were hospitalized and one remains in critical condition, Oklahoma City Police Department Captain Dexter Nelson said in a telephone interview. A pregnant woman was also treated for blunt trauma after the incident, which occurred in the Bricktown district of Oklahoma City, a club and restaurant area located a few blocks east of the arena, he said.

 Shortly after the Thunder-Lakers game a large crowd of people were moving toward parking lots and the Bricktown area, and there was some type of an altercation or scuffle between some people in the crowd,  Nelson said. “At least one subject pulled out a weapon and fired into the crowd.”

The Thunder beat the Lakers 106-90 to close the best-of- seven second-round NBA postseason series in five games. Nelson said police were unsure if the people involved in the incident had attended the game or if the altercation was basketball related.

The shooting occurred around 11:35 p.m. central time, Nelson said. The game ended around 11:22 p.m.

Police don’t have a suspect in custody as of this morning, Nelson said.

Information regarding the ages and genders of the victims haven’t been disclosed, Nelson said. Aside from the one victim in critical condition, all others were treated for non-life- threatening injuries.

2 Chainz was arrested at LaGuardia Airport in New York today … after cops say he was packin’ brass knuckles in his carry-on bag … 2 Chainz — real name Tauheed Epps (who also goes by the name Tity Boi) — was entering the Delta terminal to fly to a show in North Carolina … when the TSA discovered brass knuckles in his bag. Law enforcement tells says police were called to the scene … and 2 Chainz was taken into custody for misdemeanor possession of a criminal weapon at 1:45 local time. 2 Chainz — famous for his hit song “Spend It” — is still in police custody. A rep for 2 Chainz tells us … his team is “handling the situation.” Story developing …

More hard times for Young Buck reports say the rapper was recently evicted from his mansion in Tennessee.

The terms of the eviction are unclear, but the judge in Buck’s 2010 bankruptcy case signed off on the sale of the house to help pay his massive debt to the IRS. The former G-Unit member currently owes $333,975.69 in unpaid taxes.

Buck was seen moving things out of the house in boxes last week.

As if losing his house weren’t enough, the “Shorty Wanna Ride” rapper has also confirmed that he’s heading back to prison in the next two months.

“I got to go to the penitentiary in like two months. F— with me for real, hold me down,” he said in a recent video interview.

Buck didn’t say what infraction led to the prison time. He was arrested in 2005 for gun possession and again in 2007 for missing a court date related to a traffic violation.

The Nashville native said he plans to get back to music when he is released from jail.

“When I get out of the penitentiary, all you rap n—-s better get the f— out the way. I ain’t even gonna say no names, but it’s a good thing I’m about to go to the penitentiary,” he said.

Ray J was almost physically removed from the Billboard Music Awards last night after angry members of Whitney Houston’s family ordered their security to get him away from them … TekniqueTheKingpin.com has learned. Pat Houston’s blood was boiling because she, Bobbi Kristina and other family members were seated next to Ray J, the person Pat believes was a very bad influence on Whitney. Minutes before the tribute to Whitney, Pat asked her security to remove Ray J from his seat, but he refused to budge. Our sources say … Pat’s security summoned hotel security, along with several uniformed officers to physically remove Ray J. Just before push was about to come to shove, security warned Pat that things would likely get physical and it would almost certainly be caught on video, just as Whitney was about to be honored. Sources say Pat then grudgingly recanted and Ray J kept his seat. For his part, Ray J groused to friends, “Pat ruined what was a great opportunity to honor the woman who I loved.”

11:40 AM PDT — A rep for the Houston family says … Pat’s assistant DID ask for Ray J to be moved from his seat … but only after an official from Billboard told the family they needed to move to the seat that Ray J was already using. Since Ray J had a ticket with the proper seat number, he refused to budge … so Pat’s assistant called for security to help sort out the situation. The Houston family rep insists Pat does not have a problem with Ray J.

Jay-Z announced his “Made In America” festival in Philadelphia last week, and now the concert lineup is starting to leak.

The set list includes artists like Santigold, Odd Future, Drake, Mike Snow, Pearl Jam, D’Angelo, Skrillex and Afrojack.

This isn’t the whole lineup, but it’s a glimpse into what kind of artists will be rocking the stage September 1-2.

Jay-Z’s “Made Is America” festival
is rumored to include a superstar lineup of over 28 artists who are all leaders of their respective genres.

The two-day concert series will be held September 1-2 held at Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park.

Portions of the proceeds will be donated to the greater area of Philadelphia’s United Way.

Tickets will be available on LiveNation on Wednesday, May 23.

Summer was a 5-time Grammy winner who shot to superstardom in the ’70s with iconic hits like “Last Dance,” “Hot Stuff” and “Bad Girls.” She continued her dominance in the ’80s with “She Works Hard for the Money” and “This Time I Know It’s for Real.” Summer and her producer Giorgio Moroder defined the dance music era of the ’70s and influenced acts like Duran Duran and David Bowie to enter the genre. Summer married Brooklyn Dreams singer Bruce Sudano back in 1980. They had two daughters together. She couldn’t have been nicer — smiling, waving and signing for fans.

Jay-Z and Beyonce are on the move.

The lovebirds are reportedly packing it up and ditching NYC to spend the summer across the pond in London.

According to The Sun the two have rented a very posh 5 bedroom apartment because they are so over spending all their loot on hotels.

Jigga man and his wifey have major plans for London Town, the Sun reports:

“Both Jay-Z and Beyoncé are going to be spending a lot of time in London over the next few months. Jay is over here for his Watch The Throne Tour and Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Beyonce will be launching her perfume in Europe over the summer.”

The new parents do have their 4-month-old, Blue Ivy, to think of. The source says:

“They wanted to have somewhere more homely now they are parents.”

While Hov is making crib arrangements, his partner in crime Kanye West is just fine blowing stacks on hotel digs. Yeezy reportedly booked a floor of posh central London hotel The Lanesborough and we’re sure his boo Kim Kardashian will be dropping in on some tour dates.

Jay and Bey are definitely at a more serious stage than Kimye so it’s only right they get a more permanent place they can call home.

Among their neighbors will be X-Factor head honcho, Simon Cowell. Doesn’t that sound like fun times awaiting?

Fakin’ Jax: Verb. To pretend getting respect. Hiphop-term made famous by Mobb Deep and even more famous by Pete Rock, using it as a sample in INI’s “Fakin’ Jax’

INI was a hip hop group composed of Rob-O, Grap Luva, I Love H.I.M., Marco Polo, now known as Jolomite, and DJ Boodakhan.

The group started working on their debut album together with producer Pete Rock in the mid-90s, and signed a deal with Rock’s new found imprint Soul Brother Records through Elektra. The record company eventually shelved the album, releasing only one 12″ single in 1996.Allmusic single The track “Fakin’ Jax”, produced and featuring Pete Rock, became an underground hit. The album eventually became one of the most bootlegged unreleased albums in hip-hop’s history, but in 2003 it saw an official release it was included on Lost & Found: Hip Hop Underground Soul Classics, a double LP of Pete Rock’s mid-1990s production work, originally canceled by Elektra Records.

Despite the fact that Pete Rock is not an official member of the group, it is synonymous with his name, as he produced almost every track of Center of Attention, and Grap Luva is his younger brother. Rock also had verses on two songs in the albums with additional ad-libs and background vocals on basically every track.

After Center of Attention got shelved the group members went their separate ways, while only two of them stayed on the music scene to pursue solo careers. Grap Luva released a few limited 12″ singles in the new millennium, as well as appearing and producing on various albums and singles from artists such as DJ Spinna, J-Live, Pete Rock, Lone Catalysts and Marley Marl. Rob-O released many singles through an imprint called St. Nick Entertainment and in 2006 he came out with a debut album called “Rhyme Pro”, a mix of the older 12″ singles with a few new songs sprinkled throughout.

If you haven’t seen actress Gabrielle Union courtside at Miami Heat games cheering on her man Dwyane Wade, don’t worry: their relationship’s fine, it’s just that he’s banned her from sitting front and center.

“I don’t sit courtside; that got killed when I became as vocal as I am,” the enthusiastic heckler told Conan O’Brien.

Union said that because of her jeers against opposing teammates and referees, Wade told her to move further away from the court as he could hear every word she said — including some jeers when her man messes up.

“I feel like, who’s gonna tell him if not me?” she laughingly told a flabbergasted Conan, admitting she’s yelled both “Airball!” and “Brick!” at her boyfriend.

Future NBA girlfriends can take a few heckler’s pointers from Union, who reportedly began dating Wade after his split from ex-wife Siohvaughn in 2007.

“I time it out perfectly for maximum effect,” she said, likening herself to aggressive basketball coach Bobby Knight and movie character “The Great Santini,” known for his in-the-face taunting of his son.

Union confessed to yelling at an aging referee, “You’ll get your Viagra if you just make a call!” and wounding a heavy-set player with a well-timed “Your Spanx are showing!’”

The ‘Think Like A Man’ star previously told ESPN her love of sports is a part of the pair’s relationship. Union grew up playing sports and rooting for the Nebraska Cornhuskers; she dated basketball player Jason Kidd in high school and was married to football player Chris Howard.

The Nuggets have excused the forward indefinitely as details wait to emerge.

Chris ‘Birdman’ Anderson will not be suiting up for the rest of the playoffs, or anytime soon for that matter. The Denver Nuggets excused him indefinitely from all team activities after Douglas County sheriff deputies entered and searched his home on Thursday afternoon before Denver’s game six first round match up against the Lakers.

While details have yet to be released, all that is known so far is that the people searching his home are in an investigation related to an Internet Crimes Against Children unit.

P. Solomon Banda of the Associated Press released the following:

• Sheriff’s spokesman Ron Hanavan confirmed that the search took place Thursday. Andersen has not been arrested and Hanavan said no arrest warrant has been issued.

• The department began investigating Andersen in February after receiving information from a law enforcement agency in California. Hanavan declined to release details, including the nature of any pending charges, citing an ongoing investigation. He said they’re asking that the case be sealed.

• Andersen answered the door at his Larkspur, Colo., home, about 40 miles south of Denver, and let deputies in, said Deborah Sherman, another sheriff’s spokesperson. ”He did cooperate. He spoke with deputies,” Sherman said.

• The unit investigating Andersen investigates child porn, Internet luring, child predators and child pornography.

The Nuggets will be just fine without Anderson, as he hasn’t seen any playing time during the Lakers series anyway. But you can’t imagine the distraction this would be to the Nuggets and the NBA if something — anything–  were to emerge from this.

Anderson has been controversial before, failing multiple drug tests while being less than personable on the court. However, this matter is obviously at an entire new level.

Keep an ear open in the coming days. If Anderson is involved in any wrong doing, considering the severity of the possible crime(s), we will know soon enough.

The Nuggets forced a game seven with the Lakers after defeating them 113-96 on Thursday night.

Joining his fellow Maybach Music Group rapper Wale, Meek Mill has signed a management deal with Roc Nation.

During an interview with Life+Times, the 23-year-old rapper, who recently released his new mixtape Dreamchasers 2, revealed that he signed with the management branch of Jay-Z’s label.

“Yeah, that’s the new deal I put together. Me coming up in this rap game, I was always an underground artist coming up by myself and making all of the moves by myself,” he said. “And my manager – he’s just like me, we’ve been coming up in the streets by ourselves. So we just decided to partner up with Roc Nation and take things to another level.”

Meek, who said that he’s still considering doing a mixtape with Ace Hood, revealed that he’s working with Jahlil Beats, Cardiak, All Star, Key Wayne and Young Jerz for his debut Dreams & Nightmares, releasing this summer.
